Dr Fiore is a psychologist and acclaimed Anger Management Trainer and coach. In addition to providing services directly to clients, his company, in partnership with Century Anger Management, provides Certification anger management training for mental health professionals, substance abuse professionals, law enforcement and criminal justice professionals, pastoral professionals and martial arts instructors.
Tony Fiore, Ph.D., Program Director, is a California licensed psychologist( Lic # PSY 6670), marriage therapist, and personal coach with clinical practices in Long Beach and Orange, California. He is a Diplomate of the National Anger Management Association (NAMA), and a Fellow in The American Institute of Stress.
Tony often speaks to groups and organizations on stress and anger management as well as providing four and eight hour programs for company retreats, treatment program staff, organizations, and agencies. He is author or co-author (with Ari Novick, Ph.D.) of four books: Anger Management for the Twenty-First Century ), A Companion Guide for Anger Management Professionals, Quick reference Guide for Anger Management Educators, Anger Management, a Student Guide and a home-study DVD called Professional Anger Management Certification Training. He is also publisher of a monthly online newsletter, Anger Coach News and Tips which is read by over 3500 subscribers.
After graduating from Purdue University in 1972, he has been active in both community mental health, the private practice of psychology, and teaching, coaching and writing for over 30 years.To add to his experience and training in conflict resolution, he has also received advanced training in Marital Therapy at the Gottman Institute in Seattle, Washington and he is a certified group leader in the Keeping Love Alive Program by Michele Weiner-Davis.
